Here's how it works:

• Artists submit songs to the ReleaseMySingle Web site for $25.
• Fans listen and vote on the submitted songs.
• Songs are then placed on a chart for each genre and at the end of the competition, the artist with the most votes for their specific genre wins.
• Out of all of the genre winners, 3 of the top artists will be chosen to compete for the Grand Prize, which includes cash and immediate sales of their single.
